I modified a jean jacket that I borrowed from my mom by adding a fuzzy collar and a homemade Shallow Gravy back patch. I will be wearing this with my costume on Sunday of NYCC.

Surfer Blood, Hey Sandy (Polaris cover)
Well this is a splendid cover for Surfer Blood to do. Polaris’ “Hey Sandy” was also used as the awesome theme song to one of the best Nickeloden shows EVER, “Pete And Pete.” Okay Clarissa Explains It All, Are You Afraid Of The Dark and The Secret World Of Alex Mack were great too! What has really happened to adult Pete and adult little Pete now? Who knows? At least Michelle Trachtenberg is doing pretty well for herself. Anywho any new music from Surfer Blood is fine by me and this is just a fun walk down memory tv lane! I feel like I’m a kid in the 90’s again. Fuck yes.

The Surfadelics “El Condor Pasa”
It takes a lot of effort for us to put together a good cover, and we enjoyed sharing our cover of Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now” on our Quest Coast tour (and recording it for our special edition release of Anything Past That).
We’re planning on retiring this particular cover after we play it at the Convergence Festival in Japantown on September 4, so for a very limited time (ONE DAY!) we’ll be making the recording a FREE DOWNLOAD on our Bandcamp page!
